Keeping the Faith with Sacred Icons features a marvelous collection of religious icons by artist Ria Kinghorn. Creating an icon takes time and involves various processes that change depending on the icon’s style. The overall process includes the choice of wood for the board, how the board is prepared, the choice of background, the type of gilding, and how the surface is finished. We are inspired by the artistic talent, attention to detail, and personal dedication that Ria brings to her iconography. It is a blessing to have her collaborate with us for our calendar.
