Editor’s Note
Missionary Stories
Stephanie Reilander
Our editorial board continues to strive to bring you stories written by and about the men and women who dedicate their lives to working in mission areas. Our theme for this issue is Beginnings and Endings, as we bring you two articles written by young men at the start of their priestly journeys and two about the memories and experience of retired missionaries. We’ve also included a delightful article written by 11-year-old Geneviève LeFebvre about her life on a farm near Whitehorse. She certainly has a gift for narrative.
As we approach the Christmas season and the shortest days of the year, please remember those who are travelling through the cold and dark, including CMIC President, Fr. David, to bring hope and comfort to those in remote mission communities.
Wishing you all a joyful and blessed Christmas filled with light.
