He founded the Congregation of the Oratory, a group of priests dedicated to prayer, preaching, and the sacraments. He is the patron saint of Rome, humor, joy, and…Catholic Missions In Canada!
Pope Pius X named St. Philip Neri the patron saint of Catholic Missions In Canada because of the saint’s home mission work within his own immediate community. His early ministry to the most poor and vulnerable in the city of Rome earned him the title “Apostle of Rome.” St. Philip Neri’s dedication and holiness continues to inspire our missions and missionaries to this day.
We hope you will join us for this celebration of our patron saint in thanksgiving for your generous support! Space is limited, please register ASAP!
