Kay Booker, president of the St. Patrick Catholic Women’s League Council in Markham, Ontario, recently presented Catholic Missions In Canada president Father Philip Kennedy with a chalice, paten and ciborium which were later given to Mary, Queen of all Hearts parish in Lestock, Saskatchewan, for their Native Ministry.

CWL St Patrick Markham_ChaliceThe gift was made in honour of Father Edward Murphy, former pastor of St. Patrick parish, who reinstated the St. Patrick Parish CWL Council through a motion by Kay  Booker and seconded by Lorraine Williams. More than 100 ladies responded, and have since become active members of the CWL Council.
